Why Support Strafford
Support makes formation possible.
Strafford's work depends upon the ordinary conditions in which serious thought can take root. Students need texts, teachers, time, meals, rooms, travel, worship, and leisure. They also need institutions willing to ask more of them than polite credentialing or passing enthusiasm.
Support allows the Institute to remain personal, selective, and serious. It helps sustain reading groups, seminars, retreats, lectures, publications, and the quieter forms of hospitality by which intellectual life becomes durable.
